Saturday, March 2
The Professional Engineers of Ontario will join in our March Break programming and host a day long Kapla blocks build event.
Saturday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The Canadian Forces Parachute Team, the SkyHawks, is Canada's only military parachute demonstration team. Over the last 41 years, they have represented Canada and the Canadian Forces to over 75 million spectators worldwide under their signature Canadian flag parachutes.
Over March Break, members of this team will be joining us at the Museum to present a hands-on demonstration of how their equipment works. Visitors will have the opportunity to talk to the SkyHawks and see why they decided to become part of such an exciting team!

Winter weather presents many challenges to airports and airlines. See how the Ottawa International Airport team ensures that runways are cleared and airplanes de-iced and how the operation changes to ensure that passengers can travel – even in the most extreme weather conditions.

Join us for storytelling workshops for children, all to do with flight! The little ones will be captivated by stories of aviation and space and will get to use their creativity in a craft activity or participate in an interactive activity following each story.
10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Use our large world map to show everyone where you have travelled. Write your adventures down in our log book and fill out a ballot to enter our contest for your chance to win a 30-minute flight in our Redbird simulator!
While you are writing down your flight experiences, the children will also have the opportunity to share their stories in their own log book. They can write about and draw anything they like and then take their book with them to share with friends and family.

Navigate the Spacewalk Obstacle Course and test your skills as an astronaut!

Learn how an ejection seat can save a pilot's life. Have a blast while listening to our enthusiastic guides as they describe the ups and downs of ejecting from a fighter jet! Sit in an authentic ejection seat and learn how pilots use this essential piece of equipment.

Are you ready to test your aviation knowledge? Come and join us for our Cessna Jeopardy trivia game where you come up with the questions about aircraft parts, how airplanes fly and how to handle different flight scenarios.

Compete against other families in designing the ultimate protection for your egg as it gets ejected skyward from our egg-launching device. Will your egg have a soft landing?

Get up close and personal with the aircraft on the Museum floor. Every day during March break, you can get closer than ever to one our wonderful flying machines! A Museum volunteer will share fascinating facts about the history of each plane, whether it's a pioneer aircraft or a modern jet.
Meet our friendly and knowledgeable staff who will assist you in boarding our Canadair Tutor, MiG and CF-18 cockpits.
Saturdays at 11 a.m. in the Theatre
Listen to a cool story, put on your spacesuit, climb aboard your "space box" and blast off to see the stars before docking at the "space station."
Sundays at 11 am
Collect navy aircraft stickers and learn about their aircraft carriers as you follow our friendly guide on this fun, interactive tour.
